Tournament of Champions (T.O.C.)
The Tournament of Champions (often referred to as T.O.C.) is the culmination of the regular season. The division winners (Triple A and above) from each league compete against each other in a single elimination tournament format to determine the District 72 Tournament Champion.
Little League Regular Season Rules are in effect for the Tournament of Champions with the following modifications:
* Blind Draw / Single Elimination Tournament
* AAA Division game length to be 6 innings or 1:45, whichever comes first. If time limit is reached
during an inning, you complete the inning. No drop dead.
* Major Division game length to be 6 innings or 2:00, whichever comes first. If time limit is reached
during an inning, you complete the inning. No drop dead.
* All Upper Division game lengths to be 7 innings or 2:15, whichever comes first. If time limit is reached
during an inning, you complete the inning. No drop dead.
* Championship Games for AAA and Majors to be 6 innings, with no time limit.
* Championship Games for all Upper Divisions to be 7 innings, with no time limit.
* In the event of a tie game, the International Tournament tiebreaker rule takes effect.
Upper Division games are scheduled for May 16 - May 22.
Lower Division games are scheduled for May 27 - May 30.
