As you know, we are nearing the end of the regular season. In the coming weeks, we will be selecting the players for the 12 year old, 11 year old and 9/10 year old all-star teams. In order to be eligible for all star, everyone (includes players, managers, coaches) will need to complete the attached CALL all-star commitment form to be considered for the team. We strongly encourage all players, who can make the commitment, apply for the all-star team (there may be players who are unable to make the commitment for various reasons). This should not be extended to only your top players or the players the manager or coaches decide should be on the team. We desire a strong list of candidates for players and coaches to vote on since not all players may be able to commit due to summer vacations, etc.

All-star player voting process:

In the coming weeks, a board member will proctor a ballot for all major and minor teams to vote for players in their respective divisions. The vote will happen before or after one of your team’s games. The four players receiving the most votes will be selected for each all-star team

Shortly after the player vote, the president/vice president will proctor a ballot for one manager and one coach from each major and minor team to vote for players in their respective divisions. The 6 players, who were not selected by the players, receiving the most votes will be selected for each all-star team

Finally, the selected all-star manager and coaches will select the remaining 2-4 players

All-star manager/coach voting process:

Managers and coaches are welcome to apply for the manager position, coaches position, or both

The President will review all applications and submit all qualified applications to the board for a vote. The candidate with the most votes will be selected, subject to receiving a majority of the votes from the present board of directors

Current Spring season managers will be offered the managing position first. If a manager doesn’t apply or isn’t approved, then a coach’s application can be considered for manager

Candidates most have managed or coached in their chosen division or age group

* PLEASE FILL OUT THE COMMITMENT FORMS TO YOUR PLAYER AND COACHES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

* PLAYER COMMITMENT FORMS ARE DUE MAY 7th (any forms received after the 7th will not be on the ballots – no exceptions)

* MANAGER\COACH COMMITMENT FORMS ARE DUE MAY 15th
