Parents,

It seems like it was just opening day…but yes closing ceremonies are this Saturday May 20th! We will have free pulled pork, pasta, and pizza dinner for the first 125 kids in uniform and a catered taco dinner for a donation. This will be followed by a free showing of the baseball animation “Everyone’s Hero” in the park on a giant blow up screen!  All friends and family, whether they have players in the league or not, are welcome to come out for a fun family night.

We will also be holding our first Hit-A-Thon this Saturday at 3:30PM. Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase more permanent shading for the dugouts, sail shades for bleachers, baseball backstops for field 2/3, and new fencing on field 2.  If you haven’t already done so, please reach out to your network for donations to support your player (https://99pledges.com/fund/coronaamer). Each participating player will receive 10 pitches and we will be measuring the distance of each hit!

Finally, the annual meeting of the members will by this Saturday at 5PM. We will be sharing our vision for the league, current financials, renewing our constitution (attached), and voting for board members. IMPORTANT – We need everyone who turned in a volunteer form this year to conduct business.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Hit-A-Thon (time was adjusted slightly)

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Annual Meeting of the Members

5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Players Line Up

6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Closing Ceremonies

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Dinner

7:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Meet Mike Trout Raffle and additional raffles (tickets available for purchase between 4:00 – 7:00 PM)
